Job Description

Job Summary:
To develop and implement proactive and sustainable corporate communications and PR programs that are closely aligned to and support KGL corporate business objectives, vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements cost effective corporate communications strategies to enhance the corporate image of the company.
  • Develops and implements effective communications and relations with the company’s stakeholders.
  • Develops and coordinates efficient and timely dissemination of news releases, reports, photographs and other materials to build the targeted level of exposure of the company image, goodwill and community relations.
  • Ensures consistency and credibility in all communications with targeted audiences.
    Promotes goodwill by organizing exhibitions, conferences, lectures, contests and public events & appearances.
  • Develops and maintains good relations with the local and international media, prepares press releases and organizes media interviews as per the company communication/PR policy. 
  • Represents the company in press events, exhibitions, forums, business functions and others assigned.
  • Develops and maintains efficient communication systems and processes in compliance with company’s rules and regulations.
  • Develops process for management staff to contribute in media articles and industry publications which helps in promoting company image locally, regionally and internationally.
  • Follows up the media and captures all issues that relate to or are in the interest of the company and keeps management well informed.
  • Leads the effort of preparing company’s profiles, annual reports, web site content and publications as necessary.
  • Builds and maintains an ongoing and excellent publicity of the company.
  • Builds, enhances and maintains a good reputation and stature of the company amongst communities in which KGL operates.
  • Plans, develops and implements media, advertising and promotional campaigns to serve the company’s strategic objectives and increases its reputation within the industry.
    Captures best practices and new trends in corporate communications and makes use of them to promote the effectiveness of corporate communications & PR functions.
  • Develops and monitors the corporate communications and PR budgets and authorize expenditures.
